One Final comment...

…One final comment on Romney’s foreign policy.
Mitt Romney gave his big foreign policy speech.  This was the speech that was supposed to lay out all his big ideas on foreign affairs.
What he gave us was an almost exact duplication of the policies orchestrated by Barak Obama over the past three and a half years…the same policies that Romney has referred to derisively as “leading from behind.”
So now the circle is complete.  During last week’s debate he whitewashed away everything he ever said on domestic policy.  Today he did the same with foreign affairs.
For the sake of accuracy, It should be noted that the only area where Romney and the president differ is that Romney wants to arm the Syrian opposition right now.  And he wants to do so in such a manner that they can effectively defend themselves against the regime’s tanks and warplanes.  That means  more than a few shipments of small arms and automatic weapons.  That’s serious military firepower.
In other words, Romney wants to start a proxy war with Iran.
